Hsinchu - Week 69 - Missionary Work Is Happening in the Greatest Area in the World

Missionary work is happening in Xinzhu 新竹...in the greatest area in the world, in the greatest area in the world!

I successfully didn't sing Hamilton for basically 1.5 years and then I got a theater-loving companion and we suddenly started to write our own version of the very famous and catchy Hamilton song, ours being called "The Xinzhu Sisters". It motivates us to go to WORK in this, the greatest missionary area in the world! Whoooo
Last week I went on exchanges in Miaoli with the cutest Sister Mayuyo, an adorable Philippine sister who has been on island for less than two transfers. I just love her. Miaoli is a dreamland!!! Sister Mayuyo remains smiley and positive as she adjusts to missionary life, and she has such a strong testimony!!
Yesterday Sister Lyman and I had a cool lesson with a person who was previously taught by missionaries. After we shared with her the message of the Restoration and how we can pray to know if it's true, she asked, "So you're telling me that you believe this is true because you said a prayer yourself and asked to know if it's true? It's not just because Joseph Smith prayed, but it's because you've received an answer for yourself?" And we said, "yeah!"
Any honest seeker of truth can, by the power of the Holy Ghost, receive a witness of the truth. So we invited this woman to start reading the Book of Mormon and say her own prayer to receive an answer for herself that this is true. She said she is willing to do it.
I love being able to share the messages of Jesus Christ's restored gospel with so many and then inviting them to do an experiment, to come to know for themselves what blessings the gospel will bring into their lives. It's the best eva.
